For over ten years a sweet Chihuahua named Daisy has been brightening up her family's days. So when it became the time to celebrate this good girl's 15th birthday, Daisy’s family knew they had to go all out on this one.
“We knew that we wanted to throw her a big quinceañera,” Tracy Nguyen, Daisy’s owner, said. “To celebrate her amazing life and as a nod to her roots!”
The family wanted to make sure Daisy’s big day was one for the books.
And it most certainly was.
Daisy's family and friends gathered to surprise the little lady, decorating the house just for the occasion. It was their chance to let Daisy know how they all feel about her.
"We could all tell that she could feel the love," Tracy said.
But no birthday party is complete without a cake, of course. So the family had something truly special in-store. Rather than get just any old birthday cake for Daisy, the family instead commissioned one unique to her — featuring Daisy's adorable likeness.
"When we brought out the cake for her special moment, her eyes welled up with tears and she was so happy," Tracy said.
The party was a home-run. Daisy was so happy to be surrounded by this much love and affection from the people she cares for most.
"Daisy is truly the heart of our family, and we've been so grateful to have such an amazing, funny, chonky and loving companion in our lives for so many years," Tracy said. "We love her with all our hearts."
